  1. I would like to find out if my more traditional oil paintings would be a good match for this event.

    All the best

    • Mike, we’re glad to know you’re interested in the Mixer Match event! This particular round is geared at handmade/craft artists/artisans.

However, Round Two of the event will take place early next year and will be specifically targeted at fine artists and gallerists. This sounds like it would be a better fit for you, so stay tuned as the year wears on!

  2. Thank you so much for the quick response Isaac.

  3. This sounds awesome! Thanks for putting it together I Heart Art!

  4. Wow, this sounds like a blast! What a great idea!

  5. I really love this idea!

  6. Heard about this through my college (PNCA) and am looking forward to submitting my portfolio after the requirements/limits/preferences are made known.
    Thanks!

  9. Hi, I am wondering how retailers/upcoming retailers can get involved in this event. Thank you! Erica

    • Please email us with more information about your shop including type of products, wholesale/consignment, location and what you’re looking for, and the planning committee will take you under consideration.

  10. Hi!

I just found out about this even after the fact. Will you be having another like it for handmade artists/crafts people again soon?

    What a great idea!

    Thanks

    • This was the last event for us for this year, but next year we’re already planning on doing more! If you sign up for our email list (right-hand column of the website), you’ll stay up to date and in the know once we announce next year’s programs!

    • Joshua, our program is tailored to the artist community here in Portland, Oregon, focused on facilitating workshops and events that encourage business skills and networking connections. While bringing artists and buyers together is one of our goals, the connections need to be made by the artists themselves. You can view all of our workshops here on our website (look for the videos category), but there’s not much more we can do for you from here. I suggest seeking out similar programs in your area to see if there’s something available to you.
