I Heart Art: Portland is a pilot project representing the collaborative relationship between Etsy, Pacific Northwest College of Art, Museum of Contemporary Craft and the Portland Etsy Team.
Our mission is to support and advocate for Portland’s vibrant community of makers by fostering dialogue, inspiring activity and offering access to resources that are otherwise difficult to find. Aspiring to be a catalyst for engagement, we serve artists, artisans, students and museum guild members through outreach and education, encouraging participation and collaboration with each other and the greater community as a whole. We are fueled by our love for the arts and our desire for public programming, artist success and professional development.
Please join us as we move forward and forge a new path in a vibrant and talented city and community!

Our Programs
Professional Development Workshops
Some of the hardest things for creative people to develop are the business skills needed to market and sell their creations successfully. Our Saturday morning workshops cover a wide range of topics to benefit creative minds, with local experts as instructors and virtually no barrier to entry. Learn how to photograph your work, find out the best uses for social media, adopt basic financial practices and much more. With intimate learning environments, heavy Q&A sessions and handouts, you can apply topics to your personal needs.
Salon Discussions
Our evening salon discussions allow us to hold informative community conversations on topics that wouldn’t be suitable for a workshop setting. Hosted at a variety of locations, the host of each discussion is an expert or leading thinker on the given topic. Discussions are be shaped around four to five open-ended statements and encourage the open, positive and egalitarian exchange of ideas.
Mixer Match Speed-Networking
What happens at the intersection of speed dating and sales networking? Speed-Networking—a whirlwind night of rapid-fire elevator pitches and electrified business connections. How would you present your goods or artwork to a boutique or gallery if you only had two minutes of their undivided attention? We put you to the test with these fast-paced rounds of high-energy conversation, giving you the opportunity to compress cold calls and tedious appointments into an evening of efficient, accelerated networking.
