Cupcake Jones screeched in at the last minute as an event sponsor, and we were thrilled to death. I think The Press Club on SE Clinton has become our official spot for reviewing submissions, making decisions and having a good time while doing it. The Proposal Review Committee—that is, Shannon, Jen, Kirsten and myself (with Cheryl in spirit)—met up there two weekends ago to dive into the many proposals that were submitted for workshops and salon discussions. Here’s a peek into our process (and some lovely photos from Jen, too).
